A comprehensive and convenient Zulu Time App is now available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. This app allows users to easily access the current Zulu/GMT/UTC Time, UTC Date, and offset in any time zone. With a simple interface and quick functionality, it is an indispensable tool for pilots, military personnel, sailors, and more.
The Zulu Time App comes equipped with an array of impressive features. Users can enjoy the iPhone/iPad app, as well as Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Additionally, the Apple Watch app offers complications that display the Zulu hour directly on the watch face.
One standout feature is the robust Mission/Event Timer. This function allows for seamless synchronization with Zulu Time Events, such as IFR clearance void times, rocket launches, flight plans, ICAO border crossings, military maneuvers, and missions.
For iPad users, Zulu Time offers full support for split view. This enables users to run the app alongside a navigation app for convenient multitasking.
The Zulu Time App also provides the option to display seconds and the current GMT date. Users can choose the TAF style UTC date format to suit their preferences.
Another handy tool included in the app is an easy-to-use converter. This feature allows users to effortlessly convert any time between Zulu time and their current local timezone in both directions.
When in communication with Flight Service during a trip through Canada, users can simply swipe to bring up the Home Screen and instantly find the current Zulu Time as a widget. Apple Watch users have an even easier experience with the included complications that provide a quick glance at their watch.
Planning ahead is made effortless with the Zulu Time App. Users can easily determine Zulu time for any desired future point by sliding the time slider on either the iPhone/iPad or Apple Watch Planner view. No mental calculations are necessary!
Zulu Time App automatically adjusts for daylight savings and the user's local time zone, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
To further customize their experience, users can add a Zulu Time widget to their Home Screen. This can be easily done by long-pressing on the Home Screen, tapping the "+" in the upper left corner, and selecting one of the available Zulu Time Widgets.
